The Beginning
From Sideline Frustration to Player Solutions
I've been playing rugby since I was 10 years old. From Penn Green in the Bay Area to repping Texas at nationals, through clubs on the West Coast: East Palo Alto Razorbacks, Santa Barbara Rugby Academy, Ventura County Outlaws, and Charlotte Rugby club I've lived in rugby shorts for over 15 years.
And here's what I kept noticing: WE DESERVED BETTER GEAR
Traditional kits were built tough but looked like you raided your dad's closet. Performance shorts did their job on the pitch but looked ridiculous at the pub. And don't even get me started on pockets (or the lack thereof).
The rugby community deserved apparel that worked as hard as we played—comfortable enough for an 80-minute battle, stylish enough for the afterparty, functional enough for actual life.

When we brought our first batch to the SLO TRI TIP sevens tournament, they sold out before the final whistle. Players got it immediately. This wasn't about replacing your team kit—this was about representing rugby culture on your terms.
